I knew that creating an openly conservative literature & art magazine would be difficult. In addition to the usual obstacles, conservatives have been openly censored, targeted, and abused by leaders within the United States.
I knew technical hiccups would occur as well. We had some issues with our protonmail account, so I opened a backup email through Google. (I know, I know… it’s GOOGLE). I expected some issues, but I didn’t expect Gmail to disable our account due to “suspicious activity” after sending a single email.
Oddly enough when checking the account security no alerts were noted…

Welcome to the technocracy, right? Eh. We will prevail. We will not be silenced, and mostly, YOU will get the opportunity to publish YOUR work with us, come hell or high water.

I’ve been through a lot of censorship and insanity. It comes with the territory of being an independent journalist. I am well-seasoned in battling the establishment, and my commitment to publishing conservative and apolitical content is unwavering.
Your Servant,
-Jessica Marie Baumgartner
