Father’s Day deserves more hype. Dads play a crucial role in raising the next generation. They are expected to stand tall and teach boys how to be good men while also offering a soft hand to their daughters. Children look to their fathers for protection and lessons on self-defense, but they also seek out mental strength from the men they call: Dad.
That mental strength arms them for life’s trials. It gives them the weapon against mental issues that every child needs to cut down doubt, depression, and anxiety. Without strong fathers, children fail. There is no arguing that, yet dads face the most dangerous professions, societal criticisms, and political hatred, all while receiving far less credit than their female counterparts.
Well, not today. Today, American First Magazine is heralding fatherhood as a necessity of life. Fathers hold the power to leave behind heroic legacies and lead the way toward greatness. There is a spiritual bond that a father’s lessons offer which holds more influence than any other form of education can offer.

Raising children is a quest. It’s an adventure like no other that puts men through hell to gift them heaven. There are many battles, even wars at times. But family is where we all start, and fathers must lead their families through it all to seek greater bonds.

We cherish the fathers who show up and stand tall for their children. These men work and work and work through exhaustion, and still find the strength to toss their kid up in the air and smile with a gleam in their eye.
Dads don’t need to listen to modern static. They don’t need women telling them who to be or how to follow their gut. They know when they’re on to something, and trusting that paternal instinct is what makes a man a good father.
