Short stories:
Fiction and Creative Non-Fiction (memoir style) are accepted up to 5,000 words. Please submit your work in internet format: flush left, single spacing, extra space between paragraphs. (12-point Times New Roman, preferred)

We ask for First Rights. We aim to publish in digital and print (though we are digital for now). Although we cannot offer pay at this time, we are working to change that ASAP. American First knows the value of your work and will be offering at least a token payment in the coming years.
Previously published work can be considered as long as the author holds the rights. Simultaneous submissions and multiple submissions are accepted, but please inform us if your work is picked up by another publisher.

Finally, we are a 100% Free Speech publication. We believe in manners and decency but do not wish to hinder anyone’s voice either. Conservative authors are encouraged to write freely, just make sure that the work shines and doesn’t get ranty. The WOKE garbage is failing because preaching turns readers off. Don’t be afraid to write about faith, family, patriotism, or tough subjects, but let the story speak for itself.
Artwork& Photography:
Give us something to be proud of. Pencil drawings, paintings, photography, and more. Please send us high-resolution JPEG or PNG files. We love patriotic themes. Find us America and its people from untold angles. Abstracts are also recommended, so long as they are made with true skills. (Sorry, no images of a banana taped on canvas will be considered.)

We do not adhere to the “everyone’s an artist” philosophy. We know artists and do not wish to downplay their struggle by uplifting hacks and frauds. Mix media and experimental content is welcome. Stroke the brush. Change the lens. Try something new and give it your all.

Poetry:
Please, no modern internet poetry. We want metaphor and simile. We want verses, and lines that draw emotion, not cheesy rhymes. Funny poetry is something we can never get enough of. Epics, haiku, sonnets, free form: we consider all forms of poetry.
